On location with artisans shaping the future of craftwork
Each season, a different city. Each episode, inside the workshop of a new story. Watch, listen, and step inside the trades that shape our culture.
Everything is getting faster.
This show is not.
In the age of AI, algorithms, and overnight shipping — this is a show about people who make things by hand. About the kind of work that can't be automated, optimized, or replaced: the work that lives in our hands and our hearts, not just our heads.
NOW PLAYING
San Francisco
Tech capital. Craft city. Season 2 goes on location in San Francisco — inside the workshops of the artisans making things by hand in the AI epicenter of the world.
You've got a really great show!!! I love that you're taking it on the road and recording with people in their space. I went through a few episodes, that's so cool! You're a gifted communicator too!

The Trades Show is one piece of an Artisanship ecosystem to revive, sustain, and grow the artisan trades. Here's what we're building:
MEET THE HOST
Briana Ottoboni
Briana Ottoboni is the creator and host of The Trades Show, the founder of The Corral, and one of the leading voices in the artisan trades revival. She's worked alongside cobblers in Portland, consulted for artisan businesses, and built a growing media platform dedicated to the people who make things by hand — all while making art of her own out of San Francisco.
